Thursday afternoon radar image.

A line of heavy showers is entering into the western sections of ENC and will continue to move generally northeastward. The southern part of the line has diminished  with the bulk of the heavy showers in a line from Clinton to the VA/NC border. While some moderate CAPE values exist over portions of the coastal sections, I do not expect any severe weather to develop from this system.

The rain should move out of the area tonight and should clear the coast early Friday morning.
