Thursday will bring more afternoon thunderstorms with high temperatures in the mid 80s. High temperatures could vary depending on location and time of thunderstorms.

Still watching Invest 97L and 98L currently in the Tropical Atlantic. Right now 97L will not pose a threat to ENC however those along the western Gulf Coast should monitor the progression of this storm. 98L is getting closer to formation and could become a tropical depression could form at any time now. The forecast for 98L is still uncertain as the models haven’t had a center of circulation to work with leading to a wide spread in model solutions. What we can say is if the storm does develop and can maintain strength and organization through the Caribbean a US landfall is possible.
