Rain For Portions Of ENC Sunday
Clear skies will give way to increasing cloudiness overnight as mid-level moisture begins to filter into the region ahead of the mid-level cutting across southern Texas. Precipitation chances will be low with no obvious lifting mechanism present. Low temperatures tonight should only drop down into the low to mid 40s as southwesterly flow develops ahead of the next frontal boundary.
It appears right now, the bulk of the rain will hold off until later in the afternoon for the northern half of ENC with the southern half receiving little to no rain during the afternoon. By late Sunday night and early Monday morning, the cold front will move through the area from northwest to southeast.
The cold front will be an anafront type front with widespread rain will occur post frontal passage. This rain should last through the day on Monday and pull away from the region Monday night. Conditions begin to dry but still expect to see some low clouds remain on Tuesday morning. High pressure begins to build in from the west Tuesday afternoon and should dry out all layers by the end of Tuesday.
Quiet weather persist through the remainder of the work week. Next weekend could see activity but will keep monitoring for future updates.
