Quick Christmas Day Forecast

I will be providing a quick forecast update for Christmas Day and beyond.

Tonight, conditions will be mostly dry as temperatures drop into the mid 40s overnight under mostly cloudy skies. Skies will remain mostly cloudy on Sunday and highs will rise to the mid to upper 50s. These temperatures are slightly lower than earlier forecast especially with increased cloud cover expected.

High pressure pushes offshore early next week with southerly flow bringing temperatures above average by the middle of next week. The next front to affect us will approach late Tuesday and into early Wednesday with another system potentially impacting the area next Thursday (still a lot of uncertainty at this time which will be evaluated over the next day or two).

There have been some changes to the forecast since earlier this afternoon after the forecast graphics were made. The changes include high temperatures for most areas on Sunday, mention of chance rain on Tuesday, and some minor temperature adjustments next week. The graphics on the site will be updated with the new forecast changes on them while the video will contain the older forecast which was made earlier today.

I will be back on Sunday evening for the next update.
