Heavy Rain Across The Area This Afternoon
Heavy rain is expected to occur over portions of ENC this afternoon. Heavy rain and some thunderstorms passed through the area early this morning but cleared out by late morning. More heavy rain currently across central sections of NC will begin to work its way westward into ENC. Areas north and west of a line from Fayetteville to Elizabeth City can expect rainfall totals exceeding 1″ while areas south and east of the line can expect totals up to .75″ close to the line and decrease as you go southeast.
