Sunday Forecast
Scattered heavy showers and thunderstorms are occurring across the area this evening. I recorded 1.10″ with a line of storms that passed through Greenville this afternoon. Areas to the north have and continue to receive heavy rain with several flash flood warnings being issued. Heavy rain persists through the overnight hours. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms are once again in the forecast for tomorrow as the surface front pushes east through the area. High temperatures slightly below normal Sunday. Monday will be mostly dry across the area with only the threat of an isolated shower so I opted to leave it out of this forecast. Scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms return to the forecast Tuesday through the end of the week with highs near normal.
