Wintry Weather For The Weekend?
Its possible.
It appears winter may not be done with ENC quite yet. Most models indicating a mid-level shortwave traversing southeasterly over the central US and interacting with a system over the Gulf of Mexico. This system will then travel eastward off the east coast. The forecast track could allow enough cold air in place for frozen precipitation over parts of ENC.
There is still time for this forecast to change and I plan to do a full briefing this evening with possible scenarios regarding this forecast.
