Major Flooding Expected For ENC

14l-radar5

ENC will experience major flooding this weekend and into the early part of next week. Hurricane Matthew is forecast to drop 12″+ rainfall over the eastern part of the state. This along with storm surge of 2-4 feet and persistent onshore winds, will create a major flooding situation around rivers and creeks. This will be the most flooding ENC has experienced since Hurricane Floyd in 1999.
