Monitoring East Coast Storm Potential This Week
Quick update: I have been keeping an eye on the models this weekend concerning this coming week’s storm potential for the east coast. Most models indicate strong low pressure developing off the southeast coast where upper levels will be favorable for rapid deepening. Its forecast track is something that will have to be watched as a westward shift will have significant impacts on next week’s forecast. Right now we will need to continue to monitor the situation.

Update: 00Z GFS shifted east. Will continue to watch to see if this trend continues.
