Model guidance can change substantially between runs. “Latest recent run” can mix initialization times, shown beside each model. NHC forecasts are authoritative. Saffir-Simpson categories describe maximum sustained winds only, not flooding, rainfall, surge, or tornado risk. NOAA data are checked on page load using a ten-minute cache; an open page does not refresh itself. Google DeepMind Weather Lab models are experimental, loaded separately and are not NHC official guidance. Google data are cached independently and are identified by their own forecast initialization times. One provider failing does not alter the other.
